What Is The Importance of a Positive Mindset

I just got off of an amazing training call and it focused on having a positive mindset with every action that you take. The purpose of the call was to explain that with every action you should have an expectation that you will succeed. Most importantly that if you do not succeed that does not mean that you give up or you have hit rock bottom. It simply means that you need to learn from that lesson, stay positive, and bounce back even stronger.

Many of you reading this that are in Network Marketing should be very familiar with this because of the ups and downs you face to success. Network Marketing probably more so than anything else that you do requires you to sustain a positive outlook.

Imagine carrying your shortcomings to every potential customer or business owner that you meet. You have this long or sad look on your face which will be very transparent to them and they will not want to do business with you.

This is my lesson for the day that you must approach every situation with a positive outlook because you never know what that next conversation brings. I personally choose my business partners wisely, especially those that do not have a positive outlook themselves. I have some very close friends that are like brothers to me, but I would never put them in my business because they do not have the right mindset for it.

So, very important starting today, focus on keeping your spirits high and not allow your failures to defeat you. For every failure that you have, you have to start viewing those as an opportunity to learn and better yourself. People will not want to do business with a person that does not appear on the outside to truly enjoy what they do. Not only is it important to show this on the outside but you have to fix your inside as well.

I hope that this article was very beneficial to you. There are many of you reading this that may be considering leaving your respective company. Coming from me, I beg you to not give up. How to Avoid Distractions and Get Your Daily Tasks Done












How Can I Avoid Distractions?

I get emails and inbox messages all the time about how I get things done daily and avoid distractions. The world we live in today is filled with the access of technology where ever you go. Between checking emails, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and more it is easy to get sucked into non-revenue producing activities. I strongly recommend that you take a step back and do a self-assessment like I did and jot down all the non-revenue producing things you do daily.

There are some pretty alarming statistics that relates to Facebook that I want to quickly share. The average time spent on Facebook is 20 minutes per user and 50% of the users between the ages of 18-24 use Facebook when they wake up. You can see that this is pretty alarming and if you are not careful can take you away from activities that produce profits.

What Are Some Things That I Can Eliminate?

The #1 thing that you can do is check emails later in the day that do not relate to a potential prospect or recruit. Emails are easy to get sucked into, because you have solicitors, trivial requests, and more. It is important to discipline yourself in not to check your email every minutes.

The other thing that I mentioned before is that you should really minimize your Facebook use of posting worthless content. Commenting on what you are eating and everything that you are watching on TV is a prime example. You should utilize Facebook for prospecting and adding value to others in your organization and others as well. You should do this by creating a Fan Page to keep your business completely separated from your personal Facebook page.

The last thing is do away with unncessary phone calls regardless if it is friends, family, and even people within your MLM team. Friends and family in a lot of cases have a tendency to just call and gossip or talk about what they saw on TV. Those are definitely conversations that can wait until you have copleted your tasks. Unless the phone call from a team member within your MLM business is about a "hot" prospect that too can wait.

You should write down the key tasks and action items that you want to complete for that day then stick to them. This means that you need to keep your non-revenue producing activities in check and stay discipline. Your daily tasks are different from what I wrote about previously your MLM Daily Action Plan. Examples of tasks that I'm referring to is sending your business opportunity presentation out to a prospect, calling an appointment on time, etc. You should strive to master the function of setting office hours, eliminating distractions, and get your tasks done. Do this and you are one step closer to being successful in your Network Marketing opportunities.

How to Develop My MLM Mindset?









Why Does My Mindset Matter?


Having the proper mindset and being able to dream big is crucial to success not only in the Network Marketing Industry but any industry. Just as you did when you was a kid, you have to hold on or go back to that moment and feed those dreams. By continuously doing this you will be able to directly affect your ability to not only develop a strong MLM mindset but also to be able to dream bigger than life.

It is equally important that you surround yourself with people who have the same or larger mindset than you do. The saying of success breads success is very true, especially in the MLM mindset arena. To do this you need to lock into your company trainings, weekly conference calls, and even go off the grid to review popular Network Marketers trainings.

How Can I Develop a Strong MLM Mindset?

The key is to always have a plan of action to help push your vision into the next chapter of our busienss. A big part of that is investing in having a stronger MLM mindset whether that be with money and of course time. You should include daily mindset training into your MLM Daily Action Plan in which I discussed in a previous blog. Yes, it is important to develop your MLM skills to build your business and recruit more partners. But it is your mindset that will push you to continue to have the same hunger and remember why you are doing this in the first place.

Every Network Marketer has been told at some point that "this stuff doesn't work", "it's a pyramid scheme", or "you will never be successful doing that." If you have a strong MLM mindset you can bullet proof yourself and not be discouraged. You have to look at those comments as verbal bullets make sure you have your protective shield on. The bad part about this is that this type of discouragement can come within your own organization as well by way of your upline and team members. Your mindset will be vital here as well, but you will also have to develop your skills to better manage your upline.


When Should I Do MLM Mindset Training?

I would recommend that you do mindset training everyday for at least 20-30 minutes per day. I personally do this first thing in the morning during the time that I am writing my blogs and making new connections online.
